The Nays WRRR is an innovative chatterbait (bladed jig) from Nays. Its completely lead-free construction makes it usable even in areas with lead bans. The front metal blade generates strong vibrations that reliably attract predators even in murky water. Available in three sizes: Small, Medium, and Large, the WRRR covers the full predator spectrum from perch and trout to large pike.
The biggest innovation of the WRRR is the solid ring on the blade. This allows the lure to be attached directly to the snap or the main line to be tied cleanly without the blade getting stuck. At the same time, this design causes the lure to collect fewer plant residues in weed fields, and the few that do stick can be easily knocked off on the first pull. This makes the WRRR more weed-resistant than a classic chatterbait. The proven bait spiral from the MZ RNNR program is used to attach the trailer—a screw spiral under the hook that fixes the trailer decoupled from the hook and gives it maximum movement.
The WRRR is designed for three retrieval styles: steady reeling, stop-and-go, and jigging. During steady reeling, the front metal blade creates a clear vibration pattern that carries far in the water. During stop-and-go, the lure falls cleanly, the blade flickers immediately when reeling starts again, providing the crucial trigger for cautious predators. When jigging on the bottom, the blade ticks with every strike, imitating a fleeing or injured prey.
The three size classes differ in body volume and available casting weights:
The WRRR unfolds its full effect in combination with a suitable trailer. The bait spiral is matched to the Nays softbaits. Manufacturer recommendations:
The eight available decors H-01 to H-08 cover natural baitfish imitations as well as stress and trigger colors for murky water or slow bite days.
The WRRR complements the Nays spinnerbait family with the bladed jig class. Those looking for a more classic spinnerbait will find the rotating variant in the Nays MZ RNNR 2.0. For the tailspinner class, the Nays BLD RNNR LF complements the lead-free search lure range.
