The Nays MZ RNNR 2.0 is the evolution of the proven MZ RNNR spinnerbaits. The revised geometry delivers a significantly more stable swimming action at high retrieval speeds, making the 2.0 even more versatile. Available in three sizes: Small, Medium, and Large, the MZ RNNR 2.0 covers the entire predator spectrum from perch and trout to large pike.
The biggest weakness of a classic spinnerbait is the skirts, which are quickly destroyed by sharp pike teeth. On the MZ RNNR 2.0, the skirts sit deep in a narrow groove and are additionally tightly tied. This makes the lure noticeably pike-bite resistant; even after several bites, the silicone strands retain their shape. The optimized design also prevents the skirts and spinner blade from tangling during the strike and the fight.
The MZ RNNR 2.0 is designed for maximum flexibility. At slow lure presentation, the spinner blade spins smoothly and produces a constant pressure wave. At faster retrieval speeds, the improved geometry creates a clearly defined vibration pattern that attracts predators even over long distances. Stop-and-go works cleanly; the lure does not tip when stopping and immediately resumes running on the first pull. The MZ RNNR 2.0 can also be reliably fished in weed beds, around wood structures, and over plateau edges.
The three size classes differ in body volume and available casting weights, allowing you to choose the right variant for every situation.
The eight available patterns H-01 to H-08 cover natural baitfish imitations as well as stress and trigger colors for murky water or slow bite days. Since the skirt and spinner blade reflect light differently, switching patterns between sun and shade at the same spot often pays off.
The MZ RNNR 2.0 is the classic spinnerbait in the Nays range. Those looking for a lead-free tailspinner for pike, zander, and perch can complement it with the Nays BLD RNNR LF — both lures also work well together as search baits.
