Nays RVN

RL - Angelrollentuning - Nays RVN - Softbait - C - 02 - 3 Inch | 7,6 cm -

The Nays RVN is a high-action worm with a pronounced curly tail that generates high-frequency vibrations even at light weights and slow retrieves. Available in four lengths: 3, 4, 5, and 6 inches, the RVN covers the entire predator spectrum from perch and zander to pike.

Design and Material

The hallmark of the RVN is the pronounced curly tail: it starts to rotate with the slightest water resistance, producing a constant, high-frequency vibration underwater. This makes the RVN the top choice for finesse applications with light weights, where classic shads provide too little action. The slim worm body features additional Nays ribs that amplify pressure waves and create the typical stimulation pattern of the Nays softbait family. The RVN is infused with a natural shrimp scent and made from an eco-friendly material blend free of harmful plasticizers, completely phthalate-free.

  • Curly-tail worm with high-frequency vibrations even at slow retrieves
  • Slim body with Nays ribs for additional pressure waves
  • Four lengths: 3 inch | 7.6 cm, 4 inch | 10.2 cm, 5 inch | 12.7 cm, 6 inch | 15.2 cm
  • Weights: approx. 1.5 g, 3.3 g, 6.8 g, and 9.3 g per piece
  • With natural shrimp scent for extra flavor stimulation
  • Made from eco-friendly material blend, phthalate-free

Action and Use

The RVN is a versatile finesse lure that performs well in many rigs:

  • Texas Rig: offered weedless, perfect for cover and weed beds.
  • Carolina Rig: longer leader line, free sliding over sand and hard bottom.
  • Drop-Shot: presented stationary, the curly tail wiggles just from the current.
  • Free Rig: controlled fall near structures, precise spot presentation.
  • Wacky Rig: hooked in the middle, both ends flutter during the fall, ideal for cautious bass and perch.
  • Trailer on the Nays WRRR Chatterbait or Nays MZ RNNR 2.0 Spinnerbait: the curly tail adds extra tail action to the blade vibration.

Lengths and Weights at a Glance

  • RVN 30: 3 inch | 7.6 cm, approx. 1.5 g per piece, 9 pieces per pack. Ultra-light finesse worm for perch and trout.
  • RVN 40: 4 inch | 10.2 cm, approx. 3.3 g per piece, 7 pieces per pack. All-rounder for perch and bass on the drop-shot.
  • RVN 50: 5 inch | 12.7 cm, approx. 6.8 g per piece, 5 pieces per pack. Larger silhouette for zander and small pike.
  • RVN 60: 6 inch | 15.2 cm, approx. 9.3 g per piece, 4 pieces per pack. Full-size worm for pike, large zander, and bass.

Target Fish

Pike, zander, bass, perch, grayling, and trout. Especially effective in murky water or with reluctant predators due to the high-frequency vibrations.

Positioning in the Nays Line

The RVN is the curly-tail specialist in the Nays softbait range. Those who prefer a subtler vibration will find the quieter alternative for clear water in the Nays NDL Pintail Shad. With a sickle tail and a bit more volume, the Nays GHST JNR comes into play. For bottom presentations with crayfish imitation, the Nays CRTR Creature Bait complements the range. As an active search bait before the follow-up cast with the RVN, the Nays WRRR and Nays MZ RNNR 2.0 fit perfectly.
