Nays VNM

RL - Angelrollentuning - Nays VNM - Softbait - C - 01 - 2 Inch | 5,1 cm -

The Nays VNM (Venom) is a high-action paddle-tail shad with high-frequency tail vibrations and a slightly rolling action. Available in eight lengths from 2 to 9.5 inches, the VNM covers every predator situation, from delicate perch drop-shotting to the big pike hammer from the boat. This makes the VNM one of the most versatile softbaits in the entire Nays range.

Construction and Material

The hallmark of the VNM is the combination of slightly rolling action and high-frequency tail vibration: the paddle tail develops its full effect even on a light jig head or during slow sinking. The body features the typical Nays ribs on the sides and is equipped with the characteristic Devil Eyes, which provide a clear visual trigger point for the final bite. The VNM is infused with a natural shrimp aroma and made from an environmentally friendly material blend without harmful plasticizers, so it is completely phthalate-free.

Action and Application

The VNM is a true all-rounder for all predator situations:

  • On the jig head: classic spinning presentation, the paddle tail delivers full action even at the slowest retrieve.
  • Drop-shot: presented stationary for cautious perch and zander, especially with the smaller sizes 20, 27, and 35.
  • Texas rig and Carolina rig: offered weedless, perfect for cover and obstacles.
  • Vertical fishing from the boat: the larger lengths 65, 80, and 95 are perfect for targeted presentation in deeper areas for pike and zander.
  • Trolling and pelagic fishing: the XXL variant 95 casts profiles for targeted pike fishing in open water.
  • Trailer on the Nays WRRR Chatterbait or Nays MZ RNNR 2.0 Spinnerbait: in the smaller lengths, the paddle tail complements the blade vibration.

Positioning in the Nays Line

The VNM is the paddle-tail classic in the Nays softbait range. Those looking for the identical body characteristics with a more subtle tail action will find the V-tail variant with the same body in the Nays SPLT. For high-frequency curly-tail vibration, the Nays RVN comes into play. For pintail presentations, the Nays NDL fits. For bottom presentations with crayfish imitation, the Nays CRTR complements the range. As active search baits before the follow-up cast with the VNM, Nays WRRR and Nays MZ RNNR 2.0 are recommended.
