Nays CRNK DR

The Nays CRNK DR is the deep-running sister of the CRNK SR. A floating, lead-free crankbait available in three sizes, which dives up to 5.5 m water depth thanks to a significantly larger diving lip. This allows it to reach plateau edges, deeper weed beds, and mid-water structures where the SR reaches its limit.

Construction and Material

Like the entire CRNK family, the DR is completely lead-free. This makes it legal for use in Dutch fishing tournaments and Scandinavian waters where lead is prohibited. The rattling balls have been deliberately omitted; the CRNK DR is a silent crankbait. The missing sound stimulus is compensated by the distinctive Nays ribs: they enhance the strong water turbulence of a crankbait underwater and make the lure extremely noticeable even without sound. The Pro Tackle Eyes provide a clear visual trigger for the final strike.

Equipped with BKK Spear 21-SS

The CRNK DR is fitted with two BKK Spear 21-SS treble hooks, known for their extreme sharpness and durability. Since crankbaits are usually reeled in linearly and the fish feels the pull immediately, the hook must set on first contact. The BKK Spear 21-SS minimize missed strikes and reliably hold predators on the lure.

Action and Application

Three retrieval styles cover the most important situations: steady retrieve for active searching, stop-and-go for cautious predators, and bottom-tapping for targeted tapping on the bottom in deeper areas. Thanks to the well-thought-out weight distribution, the CRNK DR does not dart off course even during fast retrieves or strong currents. Target species are pike, zander, and large perch at plateau edges, in deeper weed beds, and at current structures.
