Your baitcaster needs either 7×4 mm or 8×5 mm – depending on the model.
Search below for your reel or use "Search in page" to find it directly.
Your reel is not on the compatibility list? No worries – just quickly measure the shaft yourself. The crucial factor is the shape/size of the crankshaft (shaft) onto which the handle is mounted. The common sizes are 7×4 mm and 8×5 mm.

Tip: Image shows the difference between 7×4 mm and 8×5 mm.
Quick reminder: You measure the shaft, not the nut – and you need two values at the end: width × height = 7×4 mm or 8×5 mm.
Choosing the right baitcaster crank (handle) affects torque, speed, comfort, and control. Length, handle material, and knob size directly influence the fishing feel – especially during longer sessions or with lures that have a lot of resistance. This guide helps you understand the differences and find a suitable combination.
The length of the crank determines the torque: the longer the crank, the more leverage.

Aluminum is the versatile standard in baitcaster tuning.
Knob size is usually given by the diameter at the thickest point.
Before deciding on length or knobs, check the axle bore of your reel:
If your reel is not listed, you can measure the axle bore yourself with a caliper.

The Maktub Knob Accent Inserts are small color rings that you click into the knobs of your Maktub MAH-90. This lets you match your handle’s color to your combo, your line, your rod wrapping, or simply your style.
Available in five colors: Pink, Blue, Purple, Gold, Green. Choose your color from the options.
Honestly: they don’t change performance. The MAH-90 with inserts doesn’t cast farther or turn smoother. What they do is purely visual.
They don’t cost much and turn your black Maktub handle into a custom piece that looks different from everyone else’s.
No tools needed. Press the insert into the recess at the knob end, done. If you have multiple colors, you can swap them as you like without touching the reel.
The inserts are specially made for the EVA knobs of the Axis Handle MAH-90. They don’t fit the older Maktub MPH-100 or MPH-120, nor knobs from Shimano, Daiwa, Hedgehog Studio, or other manufacturers. So check first if you really have the MAH-90.
Each order includes one set in the chosen color. The set is enough for both knobs of your MAH-90. If you want multiple colors to rotate, just add several sets to your cart.
