Why use tuning bearings?

In general, ball bearings installed in the Reel from the factory often do not have good rotation properties because a lot of grease and dust prevent smooth running.

The tuning kit is pre-oiled, the in-house Alchemy Oil from Hedgehog Studio ensures the perfect balance between oil and ball bearing.

The "Kattobi" bearings undergo quality control; they are checked by hand after assembly, and only bearings with excellent rotational performance are allowed to leave the facility.

Therefore, it is not necessary to clean or lubricate the ball bearings. The ball bearings can be used out-of-the-box.

Instructions for use:

• Replace bearings: For Reels with a housing (cover) on the bearing, remove the retaining ring and replace the inner bearing with the 630ZHi.
• Special features: Due to the special small diameter spool of these Reels, only AIR BFS bearings can be installed. Use the SLP WORKS Spool BB Remover II or the Roro Spool Bearing Remover to replace the bearings.
