With the "Kattobi" Bearing Tuning Kit, you get a premium bearing set from Japan for your baitcasting reel. The kit includes 2 bearings with the bearing sizes 1150 Air (5mm x 11mm x 4mm) & 1030 Air (3mm x 10mm x 4mm). 

The small ceramic balls are installed so precisely in the housing that they start running smoothly even at the slightest weights. This makes the fishing reel perform incredibly well, with an extremely high rotation speed on one hand and a very smooth operation on the other.

Squeeze out the last bit of distance!

The Air Ceramic Bearing Set is aimed at anglers with light lures who primarily cast lures weighing 1 - 28 g. With these bearings, you achieve on average 10 - 30% more casting distance. That doesn’t sound like much, but with a casting distance of 30 m, you get up to 9 m more out of your reel compared to factory bearings. This allows you to fish spots that were previously out of your casting range.

Why use tuning bearings? 

In general, bearings installed in the reel from the factory often do not have good rotation properties because a lot of grease and dust prevent smooth operation. 

The AIR Ceramic Tuning Kit comes pre-oiled, with the proprietary Alchemy Oil from Hedgehog Studio ensuring the perfect balance between oil and bearing.

The "Kattobi" bearings undergo a quality control; for this, they are checked by hand after assembly, and only bearings with an excellent rotational performance are allowed to leave the factory.

Therefore, it is not necessary to clean or lubricate the ball bearings. The ball bearings can be used out-of-the-box.
