Gomexus 20mm Finesse Touch Knob TPE

Gomexus 20mm Finesse Touch Knob TPE-Knob-Gomexus-Schwarz-RL-Angelrollentuning

The Touch Knob made of TPE from Gomexus is 20 mm in size and weighs just 6 g!

Featherlight

The almost hollow design inside ensures an incredibly lightweight knob, yet the crank knob is still very durable and has an amazing feel.

At first glance, this knob looks like it is only covered by a very thin film, but appearances are deceiving. The material is TPE, which is extremely light and durable.

Environmentally friendly and extremely durable

With this knob, you give your fishing reel a new shine! The knobs are made of thermoplastic elastomers, or TPE for short.

TPE is a high-quality material that is durable and resistant to color fading. It is easy to clean and offers an unparalleled grip and hold even when wet. TPE is environmentally friendly, with no harmful plasticizers used in production!

TPE feels a bit like rubber but is much firmer. This gives the crank knobs an incredible grip that remains even when wet.

Fits many fishing reels!

The knob fits both baitcasting reels and spinning reels.

We recommend this size of knobs mainly for BFS and ultralight fishing reels from size 500 up to 2500. However, the knobs can also be easily mounted on larger reels.

To make the knobs fit as many Reels as possible, the package includes different washers. For easy installation, the appropriate tool and instructions are also included.

If you still have questions about installing the knobs, be sure to check out this picture

To ensure the knobs turn smoothly, high-quality stainless steel ball bearings are included. To keep your knobs turning smoothly for a long time, we recommend oiling the ball bearings before installation. The best choice for this is a ball bearing oil like High Spec Bearing Oil from Glitch Oil.

If you are unsure about the size, you can ask us for advice , we are happy to help you choose the right one.

If your Reel is not included, don’t panic. For Reels of different brands, the original crank knob must first be removed and the shaft measured. If the shaft dimensions match the specifications in the graphic, the knob is compatible.

Comparison: Gomexus Aluminium Knob 24mm vs. other handle Here you see the direct comparison between the Gomexus Aluminium Knob 24mm and a standard handle. Both handles run on a 4.0 mm shaft – perfectly compatible with most Baitcaster Reels. The difference lies in the details: With Gomexus, you get a shaft length of a full 27.5 mm, while the other handle has only 27.0 mm. All important dimensions are displayed directly on the handles – so you can easily check which knob fits your combo better and what matters when tuning. With the Gomexus upgrade, you not only get a cooler style upgrade but also maximum control and performance for your next sessions!.

Please note per package there is each 1x Knob included.

FAQ – Handle Knobs for Baitcasting Reels

Our knobs are compatible with many baitcasting reels that feature a Type A or Type S knob mount. These systems are used on many reels from Shimano and Daiwa.

If your reel is not listed in the compatibility list, that does not automatically mean the knob will not fit. Many reels use the same knob mounts across multiple model generations.

In the “Your reel isn’t listed?” tab, you’ll find instructions on how to check compatibility yourself.

Yes, in most cases, it’s very simple. On many Reels, the knob is held in place by a small screw located under a cap on the knob.

Once you loosen this screw, you can remove the old knob and install the new one. The replacement usually takes just a few minutes.

A small screwdriver is usually all you need. Use it to loosen the screw beneath the knob cap and remove the crank knob.

Installing a new knob is normally quick and requires no special tools.

Type A and Type S are standardized knob mounts used on many fishing reels. They determine how the knob is attached to the handle.

Many baitcasting reels from Shimano and Daiwa use these systems, which is why our knobs are compatible with a wide range of Reel.

The size of a knob is specified by the diameter at its thickest point.

Small knobs (approx. 18–20 mm) provide a very direct feel and are particularly suitable for BFS and ultralight setups.

Medium-sized knobs (approx. 21–24 mm) are highly versatile and offer a good balance of comfort and control. They suit most all-round setups.

Larger knobs (approx. 25–27 mm) provide more grip area and are comfortable when fighting larger fish.

Very large knobs (30–40 mm) are often used for big-bait or saltwater setups.

Technically, this is often possible as long as the fitting is compatible. Nevertheless, the size should be chosen sensibly for the Reel.

A very large or heavy knob can accelerate the crank more strongly due to its own weight and the resulting centrifugal force than some lightweight Reels are designed for.

Especially with very lightweight baitcasting Reels or BFS Reels, an oversized knob can increase the load on the gearing. Therefore, for small Reels, it is advisable to use lightweight, appropriately sized knobs.

The material primarily affects the feel of the grip.

EVA is very lightweight and non-slip.

TPE or silicone offer a soft surface and excellent comfort.

Cork provides a natural grip and is very lightweight.

Carbon is extremely lightweight and offers direct feedback.

Aluminum is very robust and durable.

Wood offers a distinctive look and a natural feel.

Rubber provides particularly strong grip, even in wet conditions.

The best option depends largely on personal preferences and the intended use.
