The Gomexus Custom Decal Set for the Daiwa Steez is a high-quality decal kit made from TPU film that visually enhances your high-end baitcaster while simultaneously protecting the housing from scratches, impacts, and abrasion. Laser-cut fit, repositionable 3M premium adhesive from Japan, neatly crafted cyber-mecha look.

Construction and Material

Unlike a simple vinyl sticker, the decal set is made from a high-quality TPU resin film with a slight 3D texture. TPU offers two advantages at once: it absorbs shocks and micro-scratches without tearing, and its textured surface provides a noticeably better grip, especially with wet or sweaty hands. The slight increase in volume improves the palming of the slim Steez housing.

On the back is a 3M premium adhesive with repositionable initial tack. This means you can peel off and realign the individual stickers multiple times during application without losing adhesion strength. The adhesive only develops its full final bond after firm pressure is applied.

Decal Set with Protective Effect in One

In real use, the TPU decals protect the Steez from exactly the marks that cause unprotected premium reels to age quickly: contacts with rod holders, contact with boat edges, stone edges on the shore, line abrasion. At the same time, the TPU surface noticeably improves the grip of the reel in your hand, especially in rain, on boat rides, or sweaty summer days. Factory paint becomes a performance surface with a custom look.

Application

Before applying, degrease the Steez housing with the included alcohol wipe, then place the individual stickers piece by piece with tweezers and press gently. If a position doesn’t fit, simply peel off and realign—the adhesive forgives this without loss of tack. A numbered instruction sheet and a video tutorial guide you step-by-step through the process, making it easy even without prior experience.
