🔧 Assembly & installation notes:

1️⃣ Remove handle & original star drag

• Remove the retainer & handle nut, then take off the original star drag.
  

2️⃣ Install new star drag

• Slide stardrag over the shaft
• The locking nut & the end of the shaft must be parallel (see image)
• Make sure the sound plate is properly aligned

3️⃣ Reinstall handle & check function

• Attach star drag spring & secure handle
• Test if the drag can be adjusted in steps and if you hear a clicking sound when adjusting

📌 Note: If the drag is tightened too much, the nut can become loose & scratch the star drag. If you want to be safe, you can install a 1 mm washer (sold separately) under the nut.
