🔧 Assembly & Installation Instructions:

1️⃣ Remove Handle & Original Stern Brake

• Remove the retainer & the handle nut, then take off the original star brake.
  

2️⃣ Install new star brake

• Push Stardrag over the axis
• The mounting nut & the end of the axle must be parallel (see picture)
• Make sure that the sound plate is properly aligned.

3️⃣ Reassemble handle & check function

• Attach the parking brake spring & secure the handle
• Test whether the drag can be adjusted gradually and whether you hear a clicking sound when making adjustments.

📌 Note: If the brake is tightened too much, the nut can become loose & the star brake can get scratched. If you want to be on the safe side, you can place a 1 mm washer (available separately) under the nut.
