The Avail Microcast Spool is the perfect choice if you want to optimize your Shimano 22 Aldebaran BFS for ultralight lures starting from 1 g. Thanks to the shallow spool depth (2.2 mm), the weight of the spool is significantly reduced, allowing you to achieve even more precise and smoother casts. Especially suitable for light saltwater fishing (e.g. for mackerel) or trout fishing in the area!

Attention: Due to the reduced spool depth, the original brake system is positioned further away, resulting in decreased braking force. To compensate for this, we recommend the optional magnet extension (4 x 1 mm, up to 8 pieces, sold separately).

• The flat coil is positioned further away from the braking system → Original braking force is weakened.
• Solution: Additional 4 x 1 mm magnets (up to 8 pieces, sold separately) to be placed on the existing magnets.

• Direct thumb pressure can damage the anodizing – instead, stop on the winding surface.

❗ Winding the cord with moderate tension!

• "Especially with stretchable cords like nylon, excessive tension can cause damage."

❗ Clean & lubricate the bearings before first use!

• "From the factory, the bearings are coated with rust protection grease – for best performance, please degrease and re-lubricate."
