Bálint runs Reset Reels in Hungary as a one-man business, just like I run RL. We’re friends, and his clickers are in stock with us.
Workshop
Down to the last bearing
Bálint strips reels down to the last ball bearing, cleans them completely and relubricates them. He repairs or replaces damaged parts when it’s worth it.
Custom
Paint, ceramic, anodizing
He paints reels in the colour of your choice, ceramic coats metal parts and anodizes, black on request.
Spools
His own spools
Reset Reels also makes its own spools for Daiwa, Megabass and Deps, for example for TD Zillion, Alphas Air TW and Steez Air TW.

What does a drag clicker do?
It makes the drag of your baitcaster click audibly as soon as line is pulled off. That way you hear right away when a fish takes line.
Which Reset Reels clicker fits my reel?
Every clicker is made for one specific model, for example Shimano Curado DC, SLX 151 and Metanium DC 24 or Daiwa TD Zillion and Alphas. The model is in the product name. Not sure? Send me your model.
What are Ice Washers?
Carbon drag washers that Reset Reels fits to its clicker sets. They run smoothly without grease, even when water gets into the reel, and according to the maker give the drag more power than Carbontex.
Can I install the clicker myself?
Yes, with a bit of skill and the instructions. If you don’t want to take your reel apart yourself, we’ll fit the clicker for you with our installation service.
What’s the difference between Reset Reels and Rollenwerk?
Reset Reels relies on stainless steel and carbon Ice Washers that run smoothly without grease. Rollenwerk mills its clickers from 7075 aluminium and PEEK. Both give you the click; what matters is which clicker is made for your model.
What else does Reset Reels do besides clickers?
Bálint services and repairs baitcasters, paints and coats reels, anodizes parts and makes his own spools for Daiwa, Megabass and Deps. In our shop you’ll find his drag clickers.
